Technical Qualifications

  • Holding ATPL(A) (EASA/FAA/ICAO)
  • Holding valid type rating on one of B737, A320 types
  • For the candidates who do not have valid type rating on one of the above-mentioned types, having valid type rating on the below-mentioned aircraft types
  • Total flight experience of minimum 5,000 hours
  • Flight experience of minimum 3,000 hours on the aircraft above 27 tons
  • Flight experience of minimum 1500 hours as captain on the aircraft types not included in Turkish Airlines fleet (Accepted narrow body aircraft types list), or minimum 500 hours as captain on the aircraft types (A320 – B737) included in Turkish Airlines fleet (simulator and line check hours excluded)
  • They are not included in the seniority for 3 years following the executive committee approval.

Als First Officer Boeing 737 bij Transavia ben je verantwoordelijk voor het veilig en efficiënt uitvoeren van onze uitdagende vliegoperatie. Samen met de volledige crew draag je eraan bij dat lowcost goed voelt, zowel voor de passagiers als voor onszelf.

Ondernemen is bij ons gewoon doen. Elke vlucht zorg je, onder leiding van de Captain, voor een veilige en plezierige vlucht voor alle mensen aan boord. Dit doe je samen met de crew en met de collega’s die de vluchtvoorbereiding en vluchtuitvoering ondersteunen, binnen en buiten Transavia.

Als First Officer bij Transavia maak je veel starts en landingen op gevarieerde luchthavens, van Griekse eilanden en populaire citytrip bestemmingen tot Noorse fjorden en besneeuwde landingsbanen in Lapland. Genoeg bestemmingen met uitdagende factoren zoals hoog terrein en weersinvloeden. Je bent dus echt met je vak bezig! Je gaat werken in een team van ruim 600 vliegers, die bekend staan om hun verantwoordelijkheid en vriendelijkheid. Je werkt in de B737 divisie welke onderdeel is van de afdeling Vliegdienst. Deze afdeling bestaat verder uit Vliegtechnische Zaken, Flight Crew Training, Flight Operations Support en Project Pilots. De eindverantwoordelijkheid voor de afdeling is in handen van Peter Smit, Hoofd Vliegdienst. Met elkaar dragen we zorg voor de veiligheid aan boord en een optimale vluchtuitvoering voor onze passagiers en collega’s.

Role MANDATORY Requirements :

  • Valid EASA  ATPL with Boeing (B777) type rating and EU Passport ;
  • EASA Class 1 medical ;
  • 8000 hours total time ;
  • 1000 hours PIC on B777 ;
  • Good knowledge of French language and a previous freighter experience will be appreciated ;
  • PIC B787 not accepted

Wat ga je doen?

Aan boord vertegenwoordig jij KLM. Je zorgt ervoor dat onze klanten bij iedere vlucht een geweldige ervaring hebben, waarbij veiligheid altijd voorop staat.
De klantbeleving wordt voor het grootste deel beïnvloed door de performance van jou en het team, cockpit en cabine. Je zorgt, samen met je collega’s, voor een veilige werkomgeving, waarbij iedereen zich gezien en geaccepteerd voelt. Je reflecteert op je eigen gedrag en blijft jezelf continue ontwikkelen.
Zo leg je iedere keer een solide basis voor een succesvolle vlucht.

Waar land je?

Als nieuwe KLM-vlieger start je in principe als second officer op één van onze wide body toestellen.
Gedurende je carrière heb je de mogelijkheid om zowel korte als lange afstanden te vliegen. Dit is vastgelegd in de Regeling Vlieger Loopbaan van de cao voor vliegers op vleugelvliegtuigen. Tevens biedt KLM Flight Operations je de kans om naast het vliegen actief te zijn als nevenfunctionaris, bijvoorbeeld als instructeur, in onze kantoororganisatie of om deel te nemen aan ons talentmanagementprogramma.

Jouw profiel

KLM zoekt kandidaten die voldoen aan de volgende kwalificaties:

Algemeen:
o    Minimaal havo-diploma met in het pakket Engels, wiskunde en natuurkunde of gelijkstelling in geval van een buitenlandse opleiding.
o    Europees paspoort.
o    Lengte tussen 1.58 en 2.03 meter. Er vindt geen beenlengtemeting plaats.
o    Goede kennis van de Nederlandse taal. Wanneer je niet Nederlandssprekend bent, dien je een examen af te leggen op Europees Referentiekader B2 niveau voorafgaand aan de selectieprocedure.
o    Getraind in UPRT (Upset Prevention & Recovery Training).

Brevetten/certificaten:
o    Geldige Type Rating van een Multi-Pilot Aircraft.
o    Class I medical*.
o    (Frozen) ATPL*.
o    LPE6.
o    Radiotelefoniebevoegdheid (RT).
o    Afgeronde Multi Crew Course
*Zowel Medical als Flight Crew License dienen in Nederland afgegeven te zijn of omgezet te worden voor een eventuele aanname.

Ervaring:
o    Bij voorkeur afgestudeerd aan een van de volgende vliegopleidingen: KFA, NLS, CAE, EPST, Martinair Flight Academy óf in het bezit van een Groot Militair Brevet van de Koninklijke luchtmacht/marine.
o    Daarnaast minimaal 500 uur ervaring op een heavy twin fixed wing (5.700 kg of meer).
o    Minimaal 150 uur hiervan is gevlogen in de commerciële luchtvaart in de 12 maanden voorafgaand aan deze sollicitatie.

Het salaris is vastgelegd in de cao. De hoogte van het salaris wordt bepaald door je leeftijd, de periode dat je in dienst bent en je precieze functie. Een starterssalaris ligt tussen 2.400 en 5.500 euro bruto per maand, exclusief emolumenten en pensioentoelages.

De selectieprocedure bestaat uit een cv-selectie, een online assessment, een offline assessment en een grading. De afsluiting is een gesprek met de Commissie van Aanname (COVA).
Tevens vindt voor indiensttreding een bedrijf medische aanstellingskeuring, inclusief een test op het gebruik van medicijnen, alcohol en drugs plaats. Deze keuring bestaat uit een bloed- en urinetest.
