Applicants must be in possession of:
- a valid ATPL or CPL with passes in ATPL subjects from Hong Kong or an ICAO Contracting State, endorsed in Part 2 for a Company aircraft type, containing up-to-date certificates in respect of medical fitness, flying competency and Instrument Rating;
- a valid Radiotelephony Operators Licence;
- an Instrument Rating with a Certificate of Test renewed within the last five years;
- a current Class One medical certificate;
- an English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 4 or above;
- At least 1,000 hours, of which a minimum of 500 hours obtained on a turbine or jet aircraft with a certified mass of 30,000kg or greater and certified for flight with no less than two crew;
or
at least 750 hours logged as P2X obtained on a turbine or jet aircraft with a certified mass of 30,000kg or greater and certified for flight with no less than two crew - Proof of being fully COVID-19 vaccinated issued by a recognised health authority
Preferred experience or qualifications in the following areas are considered advantageous:
- Aviation-related tertiary qualification
- Boeing experience gained within the last 10 years

- proof of being fully COVID-19 vaccinated issued by a recognised health authority

Qualifications:
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Minimum 1000 flying hours of which 500 hours must be on an aircraft with a maximum certificated takeoff weight of more than 5,670kg driven by turbines, and used for commercial aviation or
- Minimum 1000 hours of which 500 hours on the corporate jet; or
- Minimum 2000 hours of which 500 hours on civil registered transport aircraft certificated for multi-crew operations
- Holder of a valid Multi-Engine ICAO CPL (gained without exemptions) with Instrument Rating acceptable by HKCAD
- A valid Radiotelephony Operator’s license
- A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- ICAO English level 4 and above
- For CPL holder, a minimum of 5 hours Night Cross Country Hours as PIC
- Passed all ATPL subjects

Requirements
Apply now to become a Hong Kong-based First Officer if you meet the following requirements:
- Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with a Multi Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR) and same state ATPL examinations credits – obtained without exemption or conversion
- CPL holder, must be eligible for HK ATPL on conversion
- For ATPL Conversion you must have 500 hours P1 U/S or 250 hours P1 and/or P1 U/S including at least 70 hours as P1
- Minimum 1,500 hours total flying time (3,000 hours preferred)
- 500 hours on civil registered transport aircraft certified for multi-crew operations according to the type certificate and having a maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) > 45,000 kg
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- ICAO English language proficiency Level 4 or above
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Hong Kong Permanent Resident will be given priority consideration

A330 Direct Entry First Officer applicants should meet the following:
Minimum Criteria :

- 1500 hours flying experience on commercial jet;

- Type-rated:1,500 PIC hours on jet transport above 50,000kg with 500 PIC hours on A330;
- Non Type-rated:1,500 PIC hours on jet transport above 50,000kg.
- Preference for Airbus family or Wide-Bodied aircraft experience.
