Job Description
Responsibilities
Sitting on the left-hand seat, you will take command of the flight and ensure the highest personal and professional standards are upheld at all times. Your focus is on ensuring that flights are safe, comfortable and on-time, every time. As a leader and a team player, you set the example and help develop members of the Scoot team to deliver the Scootitudeexperience to all passengers.
Embraer 190-E2 Captain Requirements
- Total flight time of more than 3,500 hours on aeroplanes with MTMA of 5700kg or more, of which at least 1,000 hours are as Pilot-in-Command (PIC/P1) on multi-engine jet or turbine commercial airline transport aircraft certificated for multi-crew operation.
Licencing Requirements
- A Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore issued ICAO ATPL (foreign ATPL will be required to undergo licence conversion which requires an instrument rating and a proficiencycheck that has a minimum of 6 months’ validity.)
- Demonstrate the ability to speak and understand English with a minimum of ICAO level 5.
- Possesses a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate, recognized or can be validated by Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS)

Direct Entry First Officer
Embark on an exciting career as a Pilot with us and you’ll be flying one of the most modern aircraft and fuel-efficient fleets in the skies.
As part of your career, you will undergo a rigorous training program to equip yourself with the highest flying standards. As you work your way through the ranks, there will be ample opportunities for progress to a Captain, and further develop your skills in the Technical, Training or Management track for those who are assessed to be suitable.
Requirements
1. Holds a valid CPL/MEIR with frozen ATPL or ATPL (recognized or can be validated by CAAS).
2. Must have a minimum 1500 total multi-crew flying hours on commercial jet aircraft. Preference will be given to applicants with previous flight experience on a commercial aircraft equipped with glass cockpit technology, including FMS.
Must possess a valid certificate for the following:
o Class 1 Medical (recognized or can be validated by CAAS)
o ICAO English Level 4 or above
o Certificate of Test – Multi-Engine Instrument Rating
Selection Process
All interviews will be held in Singapore. Applicants undergo various stages comprising online application, interview with senior management, simulator assessment and medical check-up.
Training
Where applicable, successful candidates will be trained to acquire an Aircraft Type Rating.
