B767 First Officer – DHL Air (Bahrain)
DHL Air (Bahrain) B.S.C. (c) is recruiting Boeing 767 First Officers for its operations based at Bahrain International Airport, Bahrain. The airline operates a fleet of B767 freighter aircraft on international cargo routes connecting destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
The position offers experienced and qualified pilots the opportunity to join DHL Express, a global aviation and logistics organization operating across more than 220 countries and territories.
Position
The B767 First Officer supports the Captain in the safe, efficient and compliant operation of DHL aircraft. First Officers are expected to operate in accordance with company procedures, BCAA regulations and applicable aviation standards while maintaining a high level of safety, professionalism and operational performance.
DHL Air Bahrain is also seeking pilots for its B767 First Officer holding pool, with future employment opportunities expected in the near to medium term.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Boeing 767 aircraft safely and efficiently as First Officer.
- Assist the Captain with flight preparation, aircraft operation and decision-making.
- Maintain accurate navigation, flight monitoring and terrain clearance.
- Ensure compliance with BCAA regulations, company SOPs, FOM procedures and the Boeing 767 AFM.
- Monitor aircraft serviceability, loading, weather, routes and operational conditions.
- Support effective communication with Flight Dispatch, Maintenance and Operations Management.
- Assist with safety, incident and occurrence reporting as required.
- Maintain current knowledge of aircraft systems, procedures, aviation regulations and dangerous goods requirements.
- Contribute to strong teamwork, safety standards and on-time performance.

DHL Air (Bahrain) operates international Boeing 767 cargo flights from Bahrain, forming part of DHL Express's global air network. The operation provides B767 First Officers with exposure to long-haul and regional international cargo operations across multiple global markets.
Requirements
- ICAO CPL/IR with ATPL theoretical knowledge credit.
- Valid unrestricted Class 1 Medical Certificate (corrective lenses acceptable).
- Minimum 1,500 hours Total Flight Time.
- Minimum 500 hours on: Jet aircraft with a MTOM greater than 10 tons; or Turboprop aircraft with a MTOM greater than 18 tons.
- Strong communication skills.
- All components of CRM should be fully understood and continually practiced.
- Preference will be given to B767/757 type rated candidates, and those with prior jet experience.
