About the role
Second in Command (SIC) – Fort Lauderdale, FL (FXE)
Revv is seeking a Second in Command (SIC) based at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE), Florida for a full-time flight crew position supporting primarily international charter operations to and from Mexico, the Caribbean, and the Bahamas.
The SIC assists the Captain with the safe and efficient completion of each flight and is responsible for assigned pre-flight and post-flight duties. The position requires strict compliance with the General Operations Manual (GOM) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), completion of required training, and active participation in the company Safety Management System (SMS).
The SIC is expected to demonstrate strong Crew Resource Management (CRM), sound operational knowledge, and a professional, customer-focused approach when representing Revv.
Operational Requirements
- Ability to work assigned schedules and complete missions safely and effectively
- Ability to work in confined aircraft spaces
- Ability to manipulate, push, pull and lift objects exceeding 150 lb
- Ability to climb on and off the aircraft wing for pre-flight/post-flight duties and over-wing emergency evacuation
- Sufficient digital dexterity for aircraft pre-flight and post-flight tasks
- Ability to conduct flights of up to 4.5 hours
- Ability to reach up to 10 total flight hours in a day
- Ability to work within a duty period of up to 14 hours
Requirements
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate
- Instrument rating
- Multi-Engine qualification
- Minimum 750 hours total flight time
- Minimum 250 hours PIC
- Minimum 25 hours multi-engine flight time
- Minimum 50 hours night flight time
- Minimum 35 hours instrument flight time, including at least 25 hours in an aircraft
- At least 25 flight hours within the previous 6 months
- Minimum First Class Medical Certificate
- Valid passport
- Authorized to work in the United States
- No aviation accidents or incidents in which the pilot was determined to be responsible
- Knowledge of FAA rules and regulations
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures
- Strong customer/client focus
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-crew environment using sound CRM
- Ability to pass FAA-required drug and alcohol screening
- Ability to pass background checks and participate in random drug testing
- King Air experience highly preferred
