Fast Jet Pilot – Aero L-159 Honey Badger | Draken
Draken is recruiting experienced military fast-jet pilots to join its Red Air Aggressor team operating the Aero L-159 Honey Badger from Teesside International Airport, United Kingdom.
The role involves supporting advanced air combat training and adversary operations for military and government customers. Pilots will apply their operational experience, tactical awareness, and airborne leadership to deliver safe, effective mission training.
Relocation support is available, along with assistance through Draken’s Managed Path programme for pilots requiring UK CAA licence conversion.
Requirements
- Military fast-jet experience, preferably within the last 6 years
- Valid UK CAA CPL(A) or ATPL(A), or ICAO-compliant equivalent
- UK CAA Class 1 medical certificate or ICAO-compliant equivalent
- NATO Secret security clearance or eligibility to obtain one
- Completed AUPRT course
- Strong airborne leadership, decision-making, communication, and safety-management skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic military aviation environment
- 1,000+ hours of fast-jet experience
- Qualified Weapons Instructor or Flying Instructor
- Experience on radar-equipped, single-seat aircraft
- Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) course completed
- Military or government aviation experience
- Civil aviation experience and Microsoft Office proficiency
