Alerion Aviation is seeking qualified Hawker 800XP First Officers to join its Hawker fleet at Opa-locka, Florida, supporting FAA Part 135 and Part 91 operations.
The successful candidate will assist the Captain in conducting safe and efficient flight operations in accordance with FAA regulations, company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
This role is suited to highly motivated, organised and service-oriented pilots who demonstrate strong operational judgement, professionalism and a commitment to aviation safety and passenger service.
Requirements
- Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.
- Minimum 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- Minimum 1,500 hours multi-engine flight time.
- Minimum 100 hours multi-engine PIC.
- Minimum 150 hours instrument flight time.
- Current FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- International flight experience preferred.
- Hawker HS 125 type rating or experience on a comparable aircraft preferred.
- Current and valid FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Valid passport with unrestricted international travel capability.
- Valid US driver's licence.
- No accidents, incidents or FAA violations within the previous five years.
- Residence within a two-hour driving radius of Opa-locka Executive Airport (OPF).
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
- Successful completion of a DOT pre-employment drug test.
- Successful completion of the required TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check, in accordance with applicable TSA security programme requirements.
- Legal authorisation to work in the United States.
