About the role
Executive Jet Management Falcon 7X Captain
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company and subsidiary of NetJets, is seeking a Falcon 7X Captain / Pilot in Command for a well-established aircraft based at DuPage Airport (DPA), West Chicago, Illinois.
The Falcon 7X operates as part of a three-pilot flight crew supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician. The operation includes Part 91 and Part 135 domestic and international flying.
The Falcon 7X Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, including flight planning, aircraft performance, weight and balance, crew leadership, passenger service, regulatory compliance and operational risk management.
The Captain leads flight briefings using EJM's Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) methodology and applies Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) during normal, abnormal and emergency operations.
The position requires the pilot to maintain aircraft readiness, monitor maintenance and servicing requirements, complete required documentation and operate in accordance with EJM procedures, FAA regulations and the company Safety Management System.

Requirements
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
- Current First Class Medical Certificate
- FAA Falcon 7X Type Rating or applicable fleet type rating
- Minimum 3,500 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL)
- Minimum 2,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
- Minimum 500 hours PIC Multi-Engine Land (PIC MEL)
- Minimum 300 hours instrument time
- Minimum 500 hours jet time
- 4–6 years of relevant aviation experience preferred
- Previous corporate/business aviation experience preferred
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the Captain position
