Wing Aviation is seeking a Lead Pilot / Gulfstream V (GV) Captain for its business aviation operation based in Houston, Texas.
Wing Aviation is a Houston-based business aviation company providing aircraft charter, aircraft management and brokerage services to clients worldwide.
The Gulfstream V Lead Pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the GV aircraft, including flight planning, aircraft inspections, maintenance status review, weather and airport assessment, passenger safety and completion of required flight documentation.
The Lead Pilot operates in accordance with Wing Aviation procedures, FAA regulations, the Aircraft Flight Manual and applicable 14 CFR Part 91 and Part 135 requirements. The role requires strong command decision-making, organization, customer-service skills and experience with international and transatlantic operations.
This position is based in Houston and is intended for local or near-local candidates able to meet the company's approximately 2-hour call-out requirement.

Requirements
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Current GV PIC Type Rating
- Minimum 3,500 hours total PIC flight time
- Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land PIC
- Minimum 500 hours Multi-Engine PIC
- Minimum 300 hours instrument time
- Minimum 500 hours turbine time
- Minimum 1,000 hours Gulfstream V / GV PIC time
- Transatlantic flight experience required
- Ability to operate under 14 CFR Part 91 and Part 135
- Strong command decision-making and organizational skills
- Strong passenger service and customer-service skills
- Current GV rating and currency preferred
- Local or near-local residence within approximately 2 hours of the aircraft base preferred
