Chair Airlines is recruiting Airbus A320 Captains / Commanders for 100% full-time positions in Switzerland, with the course starting in February/March 2027.
Chair Airlines is a Swiss airline operating flights from Zurich, Bern and Basel to destinations across Europe and Northern Africa. The A320 Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, leading the flight crew and ensuring compliance with EASA regulations, company procedures and operational standards.
The role combines flight deck command responsibility with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, professionalism and customer service. Candidates should be experienced Airbus A320 family Commanders with recent commercial flying experience and fluent German.

Requirements
- Course start in February/March 2027
- Unrestricted right to live and work in Switzerland
- Unrestricted EU/EFTA passport
- Valid EASA Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL)
- Valid Airbus A320 Type Rating with at least 3 months validity remaining from course start
- Valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4
- Minimum 4,000 hours actual flight time on CS-25 aircraft
- Minimum 1,000 hours actual Commander/PIC time on Airbus A320 family aircraft
- Last commercial flight within the preceding 6 months
- Fluent German
- Sufficient swimming ability
