Buzz B737 Direct Entry Captain
Buzz, part of the Ryanair Group, is recruiting Direct Entry B737 Rated Captains for bases across its Eastern European network, with training courses commencing in winter.
The position is aimed at experienced Boeing 737 commanders seeking to join the Ryanair Group's expanding operation. Buzz operates a modern fleet of Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-8200 aircraft, with opportunities across bases in Albania, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Hungary, Slovakia and other Buzz locations.
The B737 Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Boeing 737 aircraft, leading the flight crew and ensuring compliance with EASA regulations, company procedures and operational standards.
The role offers a 5 days on / 4 days off roster, structured career progression opportunities and access to Ryanair Group training programs.

Requirements
- Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU
- EASA Part-FCL licence
- Valid EU Part-MED Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Applicant must be under 65 years of age
- Minimum 3,500 hours total flying time
- Minimum 2,000 hours on multi-crew, multi-engine jet aircraft above 30,000 kg MTOW
- Experience must be with an airline, cargo operator or military transport operator
- Minimum 800 hours PIC on multi-crew, multi-engine jet aircraft above 30,000 kg MTOW for EASA licence holders
- No turboprop PIC time counted toward the 800-hour PIC requirement
- Minimum 500 hours PIC on Boeing 737-300 to 737-900 series aircraft
- Current B737-300 to B737-900 type rating listed on the pilot licence
- For EASA licence holders, B737 rating must not have expired more than 36 months before the intended OCC course commencement date
- B737-300 to B737-900 Commander experience required within the 36 months preceding course commencement
- Pilots with a valid B737 rating but no B737 operation within the previous 36 months may be required to complete a full Transition Type Rating course and may be considered as non-type-rated candidates
- Minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 (Operational)
- Written English proficiency at Operational Level 4
- Ability to pass an enhanced background check and satisfy all applicable regulatory requirements
