Smartwings is currently seeking qualified and experienced Boeing 737 Captains to join its flight operations team.
Job Description
Smartwings is recruiting experienced Boeing 737 Captains for its fleet, offering the opportunity to operate across a varied international network.
Successful candidates will conduct scheduled, charter and ACMI operations, including assignments worldwide as required by the airline.
The position offers a choice of permanent employment or a self-employed contract, with opportunities for career development within an established airline operating across multiple markets.
Requirements
- Minimum 3,000 total flight hours.
- Minimum 500 hours as Captain on the Boeing 737.
- Boeing 737 type rating, which must not have expired more than 12 months previously.
- Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or above.
- Valid, unrestricted EU passport.
- No interruption in flying activity exceeding 12 months.
- Yellow fever vaccination.
- No criminal record.
- No incident record.
- Applicants must be between 26 and 62 years of age.
- Strong cooperation and teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication and advanced Crew Resource Management (CRM) capabilities.
- Effective stress management in a changing operational environment.
- Ability to share and delegate tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with an emphasis on international teamwork.
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- High situational awareness and a commitment to continuous improvement.
