Regional Express (Rex) is one of Australia’s established regional airlines, operating scheduled passenger services across its regional network.
Rex is seeking experienced and professional pilots to join its flight crew as Saab 340 Captains. Successful applicants will represent the airline across its regional operations, maintaining high standards of safety, operational performance and customer service.
This is an ongoing recruitment opportunity for suitably qualified Captains interested in joining Rex’s Saab 340 operation.
Job Description
The Saab 340 Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, exercising command authority and ensuring compliance with applicable Australian aviation regulations and company operating procedures.
Captains will operate regional scheduled air transport and Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) services, acting as ambassadors for Rex while maintaining professional standards throughout all aspects of flight operations.
Requirements
- Australian Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
- Multi-Engine Command Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC).
- Current CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Minimum 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience on turboprop or jet aircraft with a maximum take-off weight exceeding 11,000 kg.
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in scheduled air transport operations and/or Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) operations.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Australia.
