Braathens is a Scandinavian airline with a heritage dating back to 1946. Today, we operate regional flights on behalf of SAS with a single-fleet operation of ATR 72-600 aircraft. Our long-term partnership with SAS provides stability and predictability throughout our operation.

Operating a single aircraft type creates a streamlined and structured environment with consistent procedures, a stable type-rating environment, and predictable day-to-day operations. Flights are primarily conducted throughout Scandinavia as part of our production for SAS.
As a First Officer, you will operate the ATR 72-600 on regional services for SAS. The role involves close cooperation within the flight deck and with the cabin crew, where safety, punctuality, and professional operational standards are always the highest priorities.
We are looking for pilots who are confident in their role, communicate clearly, and thrive in an operation where flexibility, accountability, and teamwork are part of everyday life.
The course is scheduled to start in January 2027.
Requirements
- EASA ATPL, CPL, or MPL
- Minimum 1,000 hours total flight time
- Valid EASA Class 1 Medical
- ICAO English Level 5 or higher
- The legal right to work within EU/EES
- A Scandinavian language is considered an advantage
