The company is recruiting an ATR 72-500 First Officer for its Vancouver base to support its recently renewed 10-year Purolator BC Feeder Service contract, extended through 2035.
Job Description
KF Aerospace is seeking First Officers to join its ATR 72-500 operations at Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Preference will be given to candidates already qualified on the ATR 72 as the company transitions to an ATR 72-500 fleet.
The position supports Purolator's regional cargo feeder network throughout British Columbia, operating scheduled weekday services from Vancouver to Victoria, Kamloops, Prince George and Kelowna, with aircraft returning to Vancouver each evening.
This role offers a predictable operating schedule, with pilots normally home every night and most weekends and statutory holidays off.
KF Aerospace offers a signing bonus based on the applicant's ATR 72 qualifications:
- ATR 72 Type Rated: CAD $5,000
- ATR 72 PPC completed within the last 24 months: CAD $10,000
- Valid and current ATR 72 PPC: CAD $20,000
Requirements
- Current Canadian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL), or a current Canadian Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with IATRA or valid SAMRA/SARON examinations.
- Multi-Engine Rating.
- Group 1 Instrument Rating.
- ATR 72-qualified First Officers are preferred.
- Transport-category turbine or turbojet aircraft experience is an advantage.
- Valid Canadian passport or Canadian work permit.
- Ability to obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
- Eligibility to travel to and operate in the United States and other countries within the company's network.
- No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted.
