About the role
Nordic Regional Airlines, or Norra, is a Finnish airline. Norra's core mission is to provide safe, high-class and quality regional air services to other airlines in an agile, ecological and cost-effective manner. Norra is a preferred partner of Finnair and operates a significant part of Finnair's domestic and European traffic.
We employ over 730 aviation professionals at Norra, from cabin crew to pilots and from office workers to crew car drivers. Our modern fleet consists of 24 aircraft, 12 of which are ATR turboprops, ideally suited for shorter distances and northern climates, and 12 Embraer E190 jets, ideally suited for slightly longer distances and European traffic. The company is owned by Finnair Plc (40%) and Danish Air Transport DAT (60%).
We are recruiting commercial pilots for upcoming courses.
In preparation for the growth of our business, we are continuously recruiting new pilots for our employment pool. Pilots selected for Norra's advanced training will be hired primarily as co-pilots in our ATR fleet. Courses are organized throughout the year according to the company's needs.
Requirements
- at least 18 years of age
- completed ATPL(A) theoretical knowledge training and examinations
- valid or expired multi-engine instrument rating and instrument rating (Multi-Engine/IR or Single-Engine/IR)
- a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- good hearing and color vision with or without corrective lenses
- Fluent Finnish language skills, at least Finnish Level 5
- a valid language proficiency test, at least English Level 4
- an impeccable background required for a basic security clearance
- a healthy attitude towards the alcohol and drug free status required in the aviation industry
- completed AUPRT and/or MCC training
- valid commercial pilot license CPL(A)
