About the role

Do you have extensive experience on the Airbus A320 and want to further develop your flying career?

If you have at least 1800 hours of experience on the A320, you will have the opportunity after joining to accelerate your retraining on the A350 and thus be deployed on our long-haul routes .

What does it feel like to fly as a pilot for Edelweiss? We accompanied Isabelle, Renzo, Claudio and Eric on short- and long-haul flights – from takeoff in Zurich to landings with the Airbus A350 in Las Vegas and the challenging approach with the Airbus A320 to Samos.

Tasks
Operate the Edelweiss aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, paying attention to punctuality, economy, and high quality standards for our guests.
Flight preparation and execution according to Edelweiss specifications
Cooperation with the crew, ground staff and air traffic control
Supports the Commander in all matters and acts as his deputy.
Is familiar with the aircraft systems and acts responsibly

Requirements

• ATPL license (EASA Part-FCL) with valid Airbus Type Rating A320
• At least 1800 flight hours on the A320
• Medical Class 1
• Fully documented flight performance record (current SIM and line checks) and above-average performance profile
• Letter of motivation
• Very good language skills in German and English (ENG knowledge at level B2 / ICAO Level 4)
• Impeccable reputation, upright, mature and loyal personality with social skills and leadership potential
• Swiss citizen or citizen of an EU-27/EFTA state
