About the role

Pilatus PC-12 EMS Captain at ORNGE
Fixed Wing Captains at Ornge are responsible for the operation of the Pilatus PC12 aircraft as well as the safety of the crew and all persons on board the aircraft. All Ornge pilots are required to complete the company’s training program and successfully pass a PPC/IFT check conducted by a Transport Canada Inspector or Approved Check Pilot. They are responsible for following all applicable policies and procedures.

Requirements

Valid Canadian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) issued by Transport Canada.
Valid Group 1 IFR Rating.
Valid Category 1 Medical.
2,000 Total Time.
500 PIC.
Valid Canadian Passport or authorization to work in Canada with unrestricted ability to travel to the United States.
Satisfactory criminal record check.
Immunization record with required vaccinations.
Must live or be willing to relocate within close proximity to the assigned base.
Must be able to comply with CARs rest requirements between shifts and arrive at the assigned base within one hour of callout when on call.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous Pilatus PC-12 experience.
Previous EMS experience.
Previous Northern Ontario flight experience.
